He's On The Move

Hard to believe that the little man is 9 months old! The biggest news is that he is mobile. Peyton decided about five days before Christmas that he wasn't going to sit around and watch the world go by. I was really hoping that he would wait until all the Christmas craziness was over but oh well! Peyton is so much different than Addy was as a baby. He is in to EVERYTHING! We never had to move knick-knacks or plug the outlets for her and he has succeeded in finding all of them!
Peyton's nine month appointment went very well. He is growing and learning every day. He weighed in at just 20 lbs (75% percentile) and measured in at _____(85% percentile). Yes...Peyton is already a victim of second child syndrome...not as many pictures, baby book not as complete, and a forgetful mother. None the less, he is still very much loved!
Here are some other factoids about Peyton at nine months:
           - loves his sister- lights up when she is around
-four teeth- two top and two bottom
           - pulling up on furniture and trying to cruise
-has three words: da-da, ah-da (Addy), aaa du (all done)
           -loves to eat "real" food
-is starting to have separation anxiety
-is sick- has been for over a month- wheezing/coughing is "normal" according to his doctors
           - is a momma's boy
-continues to be a happy happy boy

It's still hard to believe that I will soon start planning his first birthday! I am excited to see him grow and learn about the world. Looking forward to the upcoming moths and watching him explore.

Oops...

Wow...January 20th. Time does fly! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and your 2013 is off to a great start. We had a very busy but wonderful holiday. Time was spent with lots of family and friends and that is what is most important. The kids were spoiled rotten, as usual. Christmas was very fun this morning with four little ones running around. Addy had a great time playing with Ethan and Henry and Peyton loved watching the big kids play. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
